[origin: CA2869648A1] The compact dual-polarization planar power splitter comprises at least four asymmetric orthomode transducers (OMTs) connected in an array suitable for being coupled in-phase to a dual orthogonal polarization feed source via two power distributors mounted perpendicularly in relation to one another, each power distributor comprising at least two lateral metal waveguides disposed parallel to one another, and a transverse metal waveguide coupled perpendicularly to the two lateral metal waveguides and four ends of the lateral waveguides coupled respectively to the four asymmetric OMTs.

Le répartiteur de puissance planaire compact à double polarisation comporte au moins quatre transducteurs ortho-modes OMT asymétriques (10) reliés en réseau aptes à être couplés en phase à une source d'alimentation à double polarisation orthogonale par l'intermédiaire de deux distributeurs de puissance (16, 17) montés perpendiculairement l'un par rapport à l'autre, chaque distributeur de puissance comportant au moins deux guides d'onde métalliques latéraux (16a, 16b, 17a, 17b) disposés parallèlement entre eux, un guide d'onde métallique transversal (16c, 17c) couplé perpendiculairement aux deux guides d'onde métalliques latéraux et quatre extrémités des guides d'onde latéraux respectivement couplées aux quatre OMT asymétriques (10).
