Abstract (en)
Method for operating a hand-held power tool (1), in particular a combi hammer (2), with a rotating shaft (3), which hand-held power tool (1) is switchable to a first and second mechanical mode for driving the rotating shaft (3). The method comprises detecting a rotation movement characteristic of the rotating shaft (3) and determining an operational setting of the hand-held power tool (1) based on the detected rotation movement characteristic. Hand-held power tool (1) for carrying out the method, the hand-held power tool (1) comprising a rotating shaft (3) and switchable to a first and second mechanical mode for driving the rotating shaft (3).
