[origin: WO2014008970A1] The present invention relates to a process for production of a europium-doped alkaline earth metal siliconitride or alkaline earth metal silicooxynitride having an increased emission efficiency. The present invention further relates to europium-doped alkaline earth metal siliconitrides and alkaline earth metal silicooxynitrides which are obtainable according to the production process according to the invention, and also to the use of the europium-doped alkaline earth metal siliconitrides and alkaline earth metal silicooxynitrides according to the invention as conversion phosphors. The present invention also further relates to a light-emitting device which contains a europium-doped alkaline earth metal siliconitride or alkaline earth metal silicooxynitride according to the invention.
