A signal processing circuit (700) comprising a distance calculator (704) configured to receive a left reference signal (712) representative of an ultrasound signal supplied to a left acoustic transmitter (740); receive, from a first microphone (750), a left received signal (716) representative of an ultrasound signal transmitted by the left acoustic transmitter (740); determine a left distance between the left acoustic transmitter (740) and the first microphone (750) in accordance with the received left reference signal (712) and the received left received signal (716); receive a right reference signal (714) representative of an ultrasound signal supplied to a right acoustic transmitter (746); receive, from the first microphone (750), a right received signal (718) representative of an ultrasound signal transmitted by the right acoustic transmitter (746); and determine a right distance between the right acoustic transmitter (746) and the first microphone (750) in accordance with the received right reference signal (714) and the received right received signal (718). The signal processing circuit (700) also comprises a sound engine (702) configured to provide output audio signalling (724, 726) representative of a sound field in accordance with the determined left distance and the determined right distance.
