A counterpart (2) includes a receiving space (4) enclosing the carrier and the connection legs arranged opposite a cover plate (9). A fixing unit (3) fixes a hinge strap inserted in the receiving space. The cover plate includes a front leg (11) provided with a recess (12) for insertion of the hinge strap into the receiving space, where the front leg is attached to the support by a snap connection. An independent claim is also included for a steel frame.
