Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2876744A1] A connector with housing and a latch arm integrally molded with the housing. The latch arm has a lever portion (146) and a latch portion which can be actuated by leverage effect when the lever portion (146) is operated. The connector further includes a connector position assurance (CPA) device slidingly mounted on the housing between an initial position in which the latch portion can be actuated when the lever portion (146) is operated and a final position in which it prevents the actuation of the latch portion. The CPA device has a pushing portion, extending in cantilevered position when the CPA is its initial position so as to increase the leverage effect of the lever portion (146).
