Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2013167822A1] The present invention concerns a hinged seat having a longitudinal axis of symmetry and comprising a base (3) bearing on a reference surface (0) and a hinge mechanism allowing a synchronous movement between a seat portion (2) and a backrest (1) of the seat. Specifically, said mechanism comprises: a part (5) in the shape of an arc of a circle oriented according to the longitudinal axis of the seat, mounted between said base and the lower portion of the seat and linked by a first end (51) to said backrest by a pivot link and by a second end (52) to the seat portion by a hinged link, the concavity of the arc being oriented towards the lower portion of the seat; at least one sliding element (6) on which the lower wall of the arc (5) rests and slides, said at least one sliding element being accommodated in an intermediate part (7) that engages with said base. Therefore the positioning of the arc of a circle is such that the centre C of same is spatially close to the centre of gravity G of the seat or of the seat and the supported person.
