[origin: WO2013185867A1] The invention relates to a road paver comprising a chassis (2) that carries a driver's cab (1), an undercarriage (3), at least one drive assembly (4), a hydraulic system, a cover (5) mounted in an articulated manner, an asphalt feed arrangement comprising a storage hopper (6), a longitudinal conveyor device which conveys material from the storage hopper (6) to a cross-distributor (7), and a steam suction system (10) which is operated by means of a vacuum generator and comprises at least one suction flow path whose withdrawal line (11) comprises a suction inlet above the cross-distributor (7) and an outlet at a height above the driver's cab (1). At the suction inlet-side end of said withdrawal line (11), at least one confuser-like inlet nozzle (8) is provided which is arranged to be secured to, and movable with, said cover (5), and which aspirates behind the cross-distributor (7) in the travel direction (F) such that accessibility in the region above the cross-distributor (7) is not affected and the view out to the cross-distributor (7) from the driver's cab is not obscured.
