[origin: WO2014026920A1] The invention relates to a sealing strip (1) for sealing at least one suction box which is adjacent to a moving roll sleeve (5) of a suction roll in a machine for producing or processing a fibrous web, such as a paper, tissue or cardboard machine. Said sealing strip is arranged in a sealing manner on the moving roll sleeve (5). In the region of the at least one sealing strip (1) and/or on the at least one sealing strip (1) and/or in the at least one sealing strip (1), means for applying a lubricant for wetting the at least one sealing strip (1) are provided. The at least one sealing strip (1) comprises a lubricant sump (4) which is open counter to the rotational direction of the moving roll sleeve (5) and is connected to the means. A contamination protection (9) is provided in the lubrication sump (4).
