The machine comprises a conveying device used for conveying continuous strips and a cutting device used for cutting the strips into the rod-shaped products with the predetermined lengths. The cutting device is provided with a cutter rest roller (1) capable of being rotatably driven. The cutter rest roller is provided with at least one cutter (3,4), which is radially outwardly protruded, and is replaceable. A cover part (2) used for the cutting device is disposed on the peripheral area of the cutter rest roller (1). One or a plurality of cutters (3,4) can be disposed in the cutter rest roller (1) by a locking device (22) operated by the cover part (2) or can be unlocked.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Maschine zur Herstellung von stabförmigen Produkten der Tabak verarbeitenden Industrie mit -einer Fördereinrichtung zum Transport eines endlosen Stranges, und -einer Schneidvorrichtung zum Schneiden des Stranges in stabförmige Produkte in einer vorbestimmten Länge, wobei -die Schneidvorrichtung eine rotatorisch antreibbare Messerträgertrommel (1) mit wenigstens einem radial nach außen vorstehenden auswechselbaren Schneidmesser (3,4) aufweist, und -eine der Schneidvorrichtung an einem Abschnitt des Umfanges der Messerträgertrommel (1) zugeordnete Abdeckung (2) vorgesehen ist, wobei -das oder die Schneidmesser (3,4) durch eine durch die Abdeckung (2) betätigbare Verriegelungseinrichtung (22) in der Messerträgertrommel (2) verriegelt oder entriegelt ist oder sind.
