Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2014029790A1] The invention relates to an impeller for a pump for conveying effluent, said impeller having a support body (32) capable of rotation around an axis of rotation (A), on which support body two conveying vanes (31) are provided. The vanes (31) each have an intake region (311) which extends from an intake edge (310) to a crest (S). The wall thickness (d) of each vane (31) increases on the face end (350) facing away from the support body (32) in the intake region (311) starting from the intake edge (310) and reaches maximum thickness at the crest (S). The vane (31) becomes narrower in respect of the wall thickness in the intake region (311) in the axial direction from the support body (32) to the end face (350). The invention further relates to a base plate for interaction with such an impeller, and a pump for conveying effluent.
