Abstract (en)
A smoking article (30) comprises an aerosol generating substrate (32) and a mouthpiece in axial alignment with the aerosol generating substrate (32). A tipping wrapper (10) is wrapped around the mouthpiece and at least a portion of the aerosol generating substrate (32), the tipping wrapper (10) comprising a row of perforations (20) extending around the tipping wrapper (10), wherein the row of perforations (20) comprises uncut segments (24) of tipping wrapper between consecutive perforations (22). The total length of the uncut segments (24) defines a percentage of hold of between 15 percent and 30 percent of the total length of the row of perforations (20).
