Laundry appliance, for example laundry washing machine, laundry dryer or laundry washer dryer, comprising a cabinet with at least two side walls (10A, 10B), a front panel (12) and a bracket element (14), wherein the front panel (12) is fixed to the two side walls (10), wherein said bracket element (14) substantially extends in between the two side walls (10A, 10B) and is fixed to said side walls (10A, 10B) in end portions (36A, 36B), wherein each end portion (36A, 36B) of said bracket element (14) and an upper or uppermost region of a corresponding side wall (10A, 10B) and a corresponding upper or uppermost region of the front panel (12) are connected with each other.
