[origin: WO2014033134A1] The invention relates to a baby carrier comprising a harness and an element for supporting a child, said element including a lower part (122) and a backrest-forming part (121) connected to the harness (11) using reversible anchoring means. The carrier comprises a removable infant insert including: a backrest element (21) which can be secured to the aforementioned backrest-forming part, and a seat element (22) extending substantially perpendicularly to the backrest element (21). In addition, the backrest element (21) forms a sleeve inside which at least the upper end of the backrest-forming part (121) is housed.
