Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2014032729A1] The invention relates to a screen printing process and an apparatus for printing objects (12) which can be rolled over a printing screen (34). There should be the possibility of printing the area (13) of the object that is to be printed over the entire circumference thereof, i.e. over 360°, even when the length of the final overall printed image is longer in the circumferential direction of the object than the distances between the individual objects passing through the printing station. For this purpose, the circumferential surface on which the final overall printed image is to be applied is subdivided into at least two sections (13a, b), which are offset relative to one another in the circumferential direction of the object (12). Each of these sections is provided with at least one individual print (53), wherein a plurality of individual prints applied to the same section (13a, b) complete one another to form a colored partial printed image.
