Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2014037631A1] The invention relates to an emitter (1) that emits a wavelength in the visible and/or infrared spectrum in order to illuminate a scene. An observation system (3) is configured to output an image representative of the illuminated scene to an observer (4). The emitter (1) is configured to generate a light emission (2) by means of at least one flash having a lighting power that exceeds the threshold at which a glare occurs. The observation system (3) has a first operating condition and a second operating condition for the scene observed by the observer (4), the second operating condition transmitting less lighting power than the first operating condition. A synchronization circuit (5) is configured to synchronize the emitter (1) and the display system (3) such that the observer (4) does not experience a glare during the emission stage of the emitter (1).
