[origin: WO2014044276A2] The invention relates to a rotating slave cylinder of a release device, which is fixed to the cover, for actuating a clutch of a motor vehicle, comprising a stationary hydraulic supply element/stator of a hydraulic medium leading to a pressure chamber of the rotating slave cylinder (rotor), in which a release piston which is actively connected to the clutch can be moved axially along the rotational axis by applying pressure from the hydraulic medium. According to the invention, a compensation device is integrated into the rotating slave cylinder, which compensates the centrifugal forces of the hydraulic medium present in the release piston and prevents the release piston from being released unwillingly.
