[origin: WO2014048425A2] The invention relates to an electric motor, preferably an electrically-commutated motor, having an electronic module comprising a housing in which the electronic module, consisting of an electronic unit and a heat sink, is arranged. The housing is closed by the heat sink and the electric motor phases which are tapped on a stator are connected to a plug unit. In an especially compact design of an electric motor which is cheap to produce and which requires only a small installation space, the mechanical connections of the electronic unit to the heat sink and/or to the housing and/or the electrical connection from the electrical phases of the stator and the electronic unit to the plug unit are designed without a bolted connection.
