[origin: WO2014056671A1] The present invention relates to a fan (1), in particular an axial fan, comprising a support element (2) with a wall ring (4) and an electric fan motor (6) which is mounted in the wall ring (4) and comprises a fan rotor (8). The wall ring (4) has on its outer periphery a hinge (20) consisting of a first hinge part (22) that is connected to the wall ring (4) and a second hinge part (24) that can be pivoted about a hinge axis (X) relative to the first hinge part (22), wherein the second hinge part (24) is designed as a terminal box (26) for receiving electrical connectors (27). The invention further relates to a support element (2) for such a fan (1).
