[origin: US2015216265A1] An ice crampon comprises a metal body composed of a head and a heel connected by flexible connecting means formed by at least one flexible cord after passing through length adjustment notches. These notches form part of a notching system securedly attached to the body of the crampon, so that the longitudinal adjustment of the cord is adapted to the shoe size, independently from the fixing means of the crampon.

Un crampon à glace (10) comprend un corps métallique composé d'une tête (11), et d'un talon (12) réunis par des moyens de liaison flexibles formés par au moins une cordelette (20) souple après passage dans des crans (21) d'ajustage de la longueur. Ces crans font partie d'un crantage solidaire du corps du crampon, tel que le réglage longitudinal de la cordelette (20) soit adapter à la pointure de la chaussure, indépendamment des moyens de fixation du crampon.
