[origin: WO2015117699A1] The invention relates to a device for laterally conveying a metal strip running over a metal strip conveyor, comprising at least one main part module with a conveying plane and at least one wear body with a wear surface. At least one wear body can be rotated about a rotational axis which is at an angle between 60° and 90°, preferably substantially perpendicular, to the conveying plane. The invention is characterized in that the device comprising at least one device for removing firing burrs on the wear bodies. A method for operating such a device is characterized in that firing burrs on the wear bodies are removed by the device for removing firing burrs.

Die Anmeldung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur seitlichen Führung eines über eine Metallband-Fördervorrichtung laufenden Metallbandes umfassend zumindest ein Grundkörpermodul mit Führungsebene sowie zumindest einen Schleißkörper mit Schleißfläche, wobei zumindest ein Schleißkörper um eine in einem Winkel zwischen 60° und 90°, bevorzugt im Wesentlichen senkrecht, zur Führungsebene stehende Drehachse verdrehbar ist, die dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass sie zumindest eine Vorrichtung zum Entfernen von Brenngraten an den Schleißkörpern umfasst. Ein Verfahren zum Betrieb einer solchen Vorrichtung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Brenngrate an den Schleißkörpern durch die Vorrichtung zum Entfernen von Brenngraten entfernt werden.
