[origin: EP2910315A1] A self-cleaning tank (1) for continuously storing cooling technical water containing particles of solid materials consisting of a bottom (2) and a circumferential wall (3) enclosing the plan of the bottom (2) which is provided at the center with an inlet (6) for fluid and an outlet (5) for fluid, and is also provided with a tangential chamber (13) with an inlet (4) for fluid and an outlet (7). The tangential chamber (13) is made up of tangential walls (14) tangentially connected to the plan of the circumferential wall (3) at vertical interruptions (10, 11) of the circumferential wall (3). In the tangential chamber there is a means (16) for rotating the volume of stored cooling technical water in the self-cleaning tank (1).
