[origin: EP2910808A1] A push-through stroke of a synchronizer ring is reduced to improve shift operability. A distal end of a chamfer 45 of a synchronizer ring 40 includes a face 43 that avoids making contact with an edge 26 of a chamfer 25 of a sleeve 21, and is formed in a trapezoidal shape in a plan view perpendicular to a plane normal to a rotational axis. The distal end of a chamfer 45 of the synchronizer ring 40 also has a first chamfer 45a in the radially outer side and a second chamfer 45b that has a smaller ridge angle than the first chamfer 45a in the radially inner side of the boundary ridge 44, where the boundary ridge 44 is provided at a predetermined height from the root of the spline of the synchronizer ring 40, and is formed in a trapezoidal shape in a side view perpendicular to a plane normal to the rotational axis.
