[origin: WO2014063694A1] The invention relates to a torsional vibration damper (1) having an output part (3) constructed as a flange part (6), an input part (2) formed from two disc parts (4, 5) flanking the flange part (3) and a spring unit (7) active in the case of a relative rotation of the input part (2) and the output part (3) about a common axis of rotation, said spring unit being formed from compression springs (11, 12) housed in windows (13, 14, 15) arranged in the flange part (6) and in the disc parts (4, 5). In order to construct a torsional vibration damper more economically and to better support the compression springs, first supports, active at least in the axial direction, for the compression springs of a disc part are produced from the material of the windows and connected in a radially inward manner to the disc part.
