[origin: WO2014070078A1] A control system (2) and a method for an electronically activatable and deactivatable parking brake (4) for a vehicle. The control system (2) is adapted to generate a control signal (6) to the said parking brake (4), where the control signal (6) comprises control instructions concerning the activation or deactivation of the parking brake, and that the parking brake is adapted to be activated or deactivated by the said control instructions depending on the state of one or several activation conditions, where one of the said activation conditions is related to the vehicle's position.
