[origin: WO2014068203A1] The invention concerns a variable light diffusion system switching between a transparent state and a translucent state comprising a PDLC layer located between two electrodes. The PDLC layer comprises a mixture of liquid crystals forming micro-droplets dispersed in a polymer matrix obtained from a photopolymerisable composition comprising vinyl compounds. The invention also concerns the use of a variable light diffusion system switching between a transparent state and a translucent state operating with a switching voltage lower than 30 Vrms.
