The paraffinization device (20) comprises a wax body (22) and a receiving core shaft (21). In order to paraffinize the cable (2), the wax body is guided from the sides of lower part or the upper part of the receiving core shaft (21). The workstation (12), in view of the moving direction of the cable, is provided with guiding components (5, 25) arranged at the upper stream of the paraffinizaiton device (25). A cable horizontal device (6) is provided at the back of the paraffinization device. In terms of the cable horizontal central plane, the receiving core shaft and the cable are in bias arrangement, or rather, the upper stream guiding components are in bias arrangement with regard to the cable and the receiving core shaft.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Arbeitsstelle (12) einer Textilmaschine mit einer Paraffinierungseinrichtung (20) für einen Faden (2), wobei die Paraffinierungseinrichtung (20) einen Aufnahmedorn (21) für einen Paraffinkörper (22) umfasst und der Faden (2) zu seiner Paraffinierung über oder unter den Paraffinkörper (22) und seitlich des Aufnahmedorns (21) geführt ist, und die Arbeitsstelle (12), in Laufrichtung des Fadens (2) gesehen, über ein vorgelagertes Fadenführungselement (5, 25) unmittelbar vor und über eine Fadenchangiereinrichtung (6) nach der Paraffinierungseinrichtung (20) verfügt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass, bezogen auf die Mittenebene der durch die Fadenchangiereinrichtung (6) bewirkten Fadenchangierung, der Aufnahmedorn (21) seitlich in derselben Richtung wie der Faden (2) zum Aufnahmedorn (21) versetzt ist, oder dass, bezogen auf die Mittenebene der durch die Fadenchangiereinrichtung (6) bewirkten Fadenchangierung, das vorgelagerte Fadenführungselement (5, 25) seitlich in entgegengesetzter Richtung wie der Faden (2) zum Aufnahmedorn (21) versetzt ist.
