Abstract (en)

Provided is a novel method for the early detection and/or discrimination of cancer and anticancer agents for the prevention or early treatment of cancer. In particular, the method relates to the status of methylation and/or expression of genes in a subject suspected to develop cancer or having cancer at an early stage. Furthermore, kits, devices, pharmaceutical compositions as well as methods related thereto are described.
