[origin: WO2014075912A1] The invention concerns a method of automatically producing models making it possible to estimate indicators pertaining to transactions of heterogeneous movable goods. Such goods have characteristics which partly explain their price. To determine the regression equations of the hedonic price model, the necessary data are gathered from market operators according to a suitable nomenclature, variables representative of the relevant characteristics are defined, if appropriate after eliminating the cross-correlation components. The model is validated by applying tests of significantness and heteroscedasticity, supplemented with trade rules. This yields data making it possible to produce a sizable number of transaction related indicators which may be made easily available to the operators of said market. A favoured field of application is the market for second-hand vehicles.
