[origin: WO2014075820A1] The invention relates to a mat (1) having a display surface (2) for displaying information such that from the viewing point of a camera, the viewing angle of which extends at an angle that is oblique to the display surface (2), the mat appears to stand three-dimensionally upright. According to the invention, the mat (1) is further developed by means of LEDs, which, distributed across the display surface (2), are integrated into the mat (1), by way of which the information can be displayed, and by means of an electronic control unit (4), by way of which the LEDs can be switched and/or controlled, either individually, in groups, and/or in any desired patterns. The invention further relates to a method for transmitting data, which are reproduced by at least one such mat (1) located on a floor. Lastly, the invention further relates to a system for transmitting data by way of at least one such mat (1).
