[origin: WO2014076269A1] The invention relates to an RJ45 connector (1) comprising a connector housing (2), which has an insertion opening (5) for inserting a cable (6), and a strain relief arrangement (10), which is designed to clamp the cable (6) on the outside of the connector housing (2), wherein said strain relief arrangement (10) comprises a first and a second clamping element (11, 12), which are arranged on the connector housing (2) on sides of the insertion opening (5) that are opposite one another in the circumferential direction, wherein the first clamping element (11) is held on the connector housing (2) such that it can pivot in the direction of the second clamping element (12), wherein the first clamping element (11) has an arc shape on the side thereof facing the second clamping element (12), and the strain relief means (10) has fixing means (16, 17) with which the first clamping element (11) can be fixed in a plurality of pivot positions relative to the second clamping element (12).
