[origin: WO2015139916A1] The invention relates to a cooling installation (1) for cooling a hot-rolled rolled product. The cooling installation comprises at least one cooling bar (3, 5) for applying cooling liquid (8) to the rolled product, a high tank (7) for storing cooling liquid (8), at least one supply line (9, 11) for conducting cooling liquid (8) from the high tank (7) to at least one cooling bar (3, 5), and at least one pump (35) arranged in a supply line (9, 11), which at least one pump can be selectively switched off or, in order to increase the pressure in the cooling liquid (8) between the pump (35) and at least one cooling bar (3, 5), switched on.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kühlanlage (1) zur Kühlung eines warmgewalzten Walzgutes. Die Kühlanlage umfasst wenigstens einen Kühlbalken (3, 5) zum Aufbringen von Kühlflüssigkeit (8) auf das Walzgut, einen Hochtank (7) zur Speicherung von Kühlflüssigkeit (8), wenigstens eine Versorgungsleitung (9, 11) zur Leitung von Kühlflüssigkeit (8) aus dem Hochtank (7) zu wenigstens einem Kühlbalken (3, 5), und wenigstens eine in einer Versorgungsleitung (9, 11) angeordnete Pumpe (35), die wahlweise ausschaltbar oder zu einer Erhöhung des Drucks in der Kühlflüssigkeit (8) zwischen der Pumpe (35) und wenigstens einem Kühlbalken (3, 5) einschaltbar ist.
