[origin: WO2014079469A1] The invention relates to a method and to a device for treating waste water, organic and/or inorganic wastes of a care facility (10) that comprises at least one waste water pipe system (12, 34) within the building, at least one kitchen (20), sanitary installations (30, 32) and a number of cleaning and disinfecting units (14). Waste water and waste materials are transported from the cleaning and disinfecting units (14) and the sanitary installations (30, 32) via the waste water pipe system (12, 34) to a separating device (38) for separation into a liquid phase (42) and a solids phase (44). The liquid phase (42) is processed and treated to produce service water for feeding back into the system. The solids phase (44) is processed in a biogas reactor (84) to generate biogas. The service water produced is fed to a service water intake (40) for feeding back to cleaning and disinfecting units (14) and/or sanitary installations (30, 32) and/or end users (72).
