[origin: WO2014181161A1] Improved method for the production of a sealed containment wrapper (1) of a bundle of cigarettes (10), comprising the steps of: defining, over a rigid casing (20) intended to contain a bundle of cigarettes (10), a containment wrapper (1) beginning with a covering liner (11) having a weakening line (18) intended to create a window to access the bundle of cigarettes (10); inserting the bundle of cigarettes (10) into said rigid casing (20); performing a first sealing, wherein the containment wrapper (1) is partially sealed over the rigid casing (20); extracting the bundle of cigarettes (10) together with said partially sealed containment wrapper (1) from said rigid casing, keeping the bundle of cigarettes (10) inside the wrapper; completing the sealing of the containment wrapper (1).
