[origin: WO2015144927A1] A method is shown for producing an architectural sheet and an aluminum sheet for producing an architectural sheet, in particular an exterior wall metal sheet, having a core layer composed of an aluminum alloy with an Al Mg base, in particular of the AA5xxx series, and at least one roller-plated plating layer on one side of the core layer composed of an aluminum alloy with an Al Mg base, in particular from an AA5005 aluminum alloy. In order to generate a high gloss level and a neutral color effect, it is proposed that the plating layer comprises 0.03 to 0.06 wt.% silicon (Si), 0.15 to 0.20 wt.% iron (Fe), 0.08 to 0.12 wt.% copper (Cu), 0.08 to 0.12 wt.% manganese (Mn), 0.85 to 0.95 wt.% magnesium (Mg) and the remainder from aluminum, and unavoidable production-related impurities.
