Abstract (en)
The present invention relates to an appliqué for application to a substrate, the appliqué comprising: a layer of intermediate lacquer; a layer of adhesive; and a third layer comprising one or more of an ink layer, an embossable layer, a design layer, a white back layer, a silver back layer and a migration resistant layer, wherein, in use, the layer of intermediate lacquer aids bonding of the layer of adhesive to the third layer and a method for adhering the appliqué to a substrate, the method comprising the step of adhering the appliqué in a single-step by applying a temperature of 135°C or lower.
