[origin: WO2014083043A1] The invention relates to elevator system having a cab and a supporting means, wherein the cab is at least partially supported by the supporting means. The supporting means comprises several electrically conductive tension-bearing elements, which are arranged parallel to each other and which are substantially surrounded by a jacket. The supporting means is fastened to supporting-means fastening devices, wherein the supporting-means fastening devices each comprise a housing and a clamping element. The housing and the clamping element each have clamping surfaces, between which the supporting means is clamped. An electrically insulating material is arranged between at least one side of the supporting means and the clamping surfaces arranged thereon. Said electrically insulating material electrically isolates the supporting means from the housing or the clamping element or both.
