[origin: WO2014083189A1] The invention relates to a trigger device (10) for a power switch, comprising a bi-metal (14) which is provided to be arranged near to a current path (12) of a power switch in order to control triggering, as well as a bi-metal mounting device (16) into which the bi-metal is inserted and which is designed to enclose said bi-metal, in an arrangement substantially parallel to a current path of a power switch, such that heat radiated from the current path heats the bi-metal more or less across its whole length.
