Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2014087377A1] A continuous cutting apparatus (10) for cutting a material, in particular a paper material, which is fed in form of sheet or roll. The apparatus (10) comprises a support frame (20) and an alternate cutting assembly (50) for cutting the sheet or roll being fed. The apparatus (10) is characterised in that said alternate cutting assembly (50) comprises a guillotine cutting device (53) of the swinging type, which accompanies the paper material to be cut along a tract of its path with a speed that is equal to the feeding speed of the sheet or roll during its movement through the cutting apparatus (10) itself.
