[origin: WO2014072594A1] The present invention relates to the field of probiotics. More particularly, the present invention relates to a probiotic Lactobacillus plantarum bacterial strain which has a positive effect on the immune system, both in terms of innate immunity and in terms of adaptive immunity. This effect is manifested in particular in the case of influenza. Even more surprisingly, this bacterial strain exhibits resistance to bile salts, which are a stress inherent in the human digestive tract and in particular in the intestines. The present invention also relates to uses of said bacterial strain. Moreover, the present invention relates to a composition containing said strain.
