Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2014086347A1] The invention relates to an intermediate lever (1) for a variable stroke valve train of an internal combustion engine, which is in the form of a closed flat block having a supporting surface (3) for a slotted guide track applied to a first end face (2) and a run-on surface (4) for a cam disc, wherein a counter-running surface (6) for an eccentric cam lies in a middle section (5) of the intermediate lever (1) and at a further end face (7) of the intermediate lever (1) extensions (8, 9) are formed that protrude on both sides in the lever pivoting direction, the common underside (10) of which extensions variably transmits a stroke of the eccentric cam to a take-off of a follower member, wherein an end face (11) of one of the extensions (8, 9) is provided as an abutment for one end of a cam restoring spring acting on the intermediate lever (1) and wherein two lugs (12) for lateral guidance of the cam restoring spring protrude from said end face (11), which lugs (12) are part of a U-shaped component (13) joined separately to the intermediate lever (1) at the further end face (7) thereof.
