[origin: US2015288069A1] A housing apparatus is described which comprises a hollow conductor which is adapted for guiding an electromagnetic wave having a predeterminable wavelength and which comprises an edge surface which extends substantially perpendicularly to the propagation direction of an electromagnetic wave guided by the hollow conductor, wherein the housing apparatus comprises both a wall element and a protection apparatus having a bearing surface. The wall element holds the protection apparatus on an end of the hollow conductor by means of a pressing force.

Es wird eine Gehäusevorrichtung (120, 502) beschrieben, die einen Hohlleiter (501, 102) aufweist, der für die Führung einer elektromagnetischen Welle mit einer vorgebbaren Wellenlänge ausgebildet ist und eine zu der Ausbreitungsrichtung einer von dem Hohlleiter geführten elektromagnetischen Welle im Wesentlichen senkrecht verlaufende Randfläche (131, 603) aufweist, wobei die Gehäusevorrichtung sowohl eine Wandeinrichtung (101, 606) als auch eine Schutzvorrichtung (100, 508) mit einer Auflagerfläche aufweist. Die Wandeinrichtung hält die Schutzvorrichtung an einem Ende des Hohlleiters durch eine Presskraft.
