[origin: WO2014089834A1] The embodiments disclose a method for managing AP clustering in a radio communication network. The method comprises: obtaining traffic change related information for an AP cluster, the AP cluster comprises a plurality of APs; determining to perform a cluster splitting according to the traffic change related information; and splitting the AP cluster into a plurality of child AP clusters, each child AP cluster comprises at least one of the plurality of APs originally residing in the AP cluster.
