The device comprises a shell; a closing element, which can be rotatingly supported in the shell and is capable of being coupled to the door leaf or door frame; a motor for driving the closing element, especially an electric motor; and a movable transmission element, which is used to transmit the driving force from the motor to the closing element. The transmission element comprises a first tooth section and a second tooth section, the first tooth section and the second tooth section are separated, the motor is engaged with a first gear and the first tooth part and drives the first gear and the first tooth part; and the closing element is engaged with a second gear and the second tooth part and drives the second gear and the second tooth part. According to the technical scheme mentioned above, the transmission element can be used as a flat tooth stopper.

Ein Drehtürantrieb (11) umfasst ein Gehäuse (13), ein verdrehbar in dem Gehäuse (13) gelagertes und mit einem Türflügel oder einem Blendrahmen koppelbares Schließerelement (15), einen Motor (19), insbesondere einen Elektromotor, zum Antreiben des Schließerelements (15), und ein verschiebbares Übertragungselement (45) zum Übertragen einer Antriebskraft von dem Motor (19) auf das Schließerelement (15), wobei das Übertragungselement (45) einen ersten Verzahnungsabschnitt (41) sowie einen davon getrennten zweiten Verzahnungsabschnitt (47) aufweist, und wobei ein mit dem Motor (19) in antriebswirksamer Verbindung stehendes erstes Zahnrad (37) mit dem ersten Verzahnungsabschnitt (41) kämmt und ein mit dem Schließerelement (15) in antriebswirksamer Verbindung stehendes zweites Zahnrad (49) mit dem zweiten Verzahnungsabschnitt (47) kämmt. Das Übertragungselement (45) ist als flacher Verzahnungsriegel (45) ausgeführt.
