Abstract (en)
[origin: MX2014014129A] An induction component includes a housing of ferrite material, a coil and a carrier element for the coil. The carrier element for the coil forms a holder for the same. The coil is connected to the carrier element and the winding ends of the coil are soldered to connection realizations of the carrier element. The carrier element is inserted with the coil into the housing and the connection contacts present on the carrier element serve for connecting the induction components to a printed circuit board.
