[origin: WO2014095827A1] The present invention relates to a chest freezer (1) comprising a cabinet (2), a freezing compartment (3) situated inside the cabinet (2) wherein foods and beverages are placed, a door (not shown in the figures) disposed at the upper side of the cabinet (2), that closes the top of the freezing compartment (3), an evaporator (4) disposed at the lateral side of the freezing compartment (3) and providing the cooling of the freezing compartment (3), a fan (5) disposed at the upper side of the evaporator (4), an evaporator cover (6) disposed in front of the evaporator (4), a machine compartment (7) situated at the lower side of the cabinet (2), wherein the compressor and the condenser are disposed, and one or more than one air circulation duct (8) that is disposed at the lower side of the freezing compartment (3) and that provides the air sucked from the freezing compartment (3) by the fan (5) to be directed to the evaporator (4).
