[origin: EP2937289A1] A group of consecutive bundles (10) of signatures is transported in a single stream on a conveyor (1) along the single path (1') passing at least one packaging station (5, 6, 5/6) configured for packaging bundles (10) selectively in paper (20) or plastic film (7). There is provided an input list with digital data with information about of the bundles (10) in the group of consecutive bundles are to be packaged only with paper and which bundles in the group of consecutive bundles to be packaged only with plastic film. In accordance with the input list, there is switched between packaging bundles only in paper or only in plastic film by the at least one packaging station (5,6).
