Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2014040582A1] The invention relates to a modular system for creating a modular-type, individual foot sole strip (15) which comprises, for each zone (16; 24, 25, 26, 27) of the foot sole strip (15), respectively one or more interchangeable standard foot sole strip modules (17). Said modules can, after selecting the standard module (17) adapted in orthopedic terms to the respective zones (16, 24, 25, 26, 27) of a patients foot, be mounted along the longitudinal axis (22) of the foot sole strip (15) in series in zones one behind the another or at least partially next to each other in order to form a foot sole strip (15). The upper parts of the standard modules (17) are designed depending on the size of the shoe or the zone (16) as a negative to the corresponding zones (16) of the foot of the patient, and/or respectively has a shape which corresponds to the most beneficial shape orthopedically relating specifically to the shoe size or zone (16) for correcting or treating one or more bad positions or illnesses which are statistically the most frequent, the transitions (23, 28, 29, 30) between two adjacent standard modules (17, 24, 25, 26, 27), in the lateral view, are progressive and smooth and when seen from above, connect perfectly to each other.
