[origin: WO2014101985A2] The invention relates to a punching die holder which has a pressure plate (12) arranged below a die retaining plate (14). In order to be able to adjust the vertical position of a tool that is to be placed in the punch holder, an adjusting wedge (16) is provided at the upper side of the die retaining plate (14), which has on its upper side a provision for connection to a mount and bears with its lower side (20) via an inclined contact surface (18) against the die retaining plate (14), wherein the adjusting wedge (16) for adjusting the height relative to the die retaining plate (14) can be adjusted in the direction of the slope on the contact surface (18).
