[origin: WO2014102028A1] The invention relates to a pressure control valve for a fuel injection system, in particular a common-rail injection system, for controlling pressure in a high-pressure fuel reservoir, comprising a magnetic actuator (1) for actuating a spherical valve closing element (2), the magnetic actuator (1) interacting with a reciprocatingly displaceable armature (3) that is connected to an armature pin (4) in order to transmit the force of the magnetic actuator (1) to the spherical valve closing element (2). The spherical valve closing element (2) and/or the armature pin (3) are axially displaceably guided in a valve piece (5) which forms a valve seat (6) that interacts with the spherical valve closing element (2).
